Het is 20 april 2019 en ineens is daar de relatief onbekende vierentwintigjarige buitenvelder Bryan Reynolds. De jongeling was slechts enkele uren daarvoor, als gevolg van een ongelukkige botsing tussen Starling Marte en Eric Gonzales de voorgaande dag, opgeroepen naar het Major League team van de Pirates.
