De directie van de MLB schat de kans hoog in dat de seizoenstart van het Amerikaanse honkbalseizoen nog verder wordt uitgesteld.  Waar enkele dagen geleden het besluit viel om openingday twee weken uit te stellen, daar lijkt het nu dat het seizoen op zijn vroegst pas eind mei gaat beginnen. Start MLB seizoen uitgesteld door Corona

Gisteravond heeft de MLB, na uitvoerig overleg met de 30 clubs, besloten om de start van het Amerikaanse honkbalseizoen met minimaal twee weken uit te stellen.  De reden om de seizoenstart uit te stellen is het snel verspreidende Corona virus.
